1st Sports and Environmental Economics Days (SEED) workshop

This will be the 1st Sports and Environmental Economics Days (SEED) workshop, organized by IPAG Business School Paris. The idea is to have a workshop of two days (Thursday/Friday, ie 12/13th October 2017), followed by a sports event of 1 1/2 days (Saturday/Sunday, ie 14/15th October 2017). We are searching for high quality working papers in environmental economics, and for this first edition also for those who share our deep affinity for bouldering. The climbing level is not (that) important, but we put emphasis on the level of environmental economics.

Submit a paper or abstract to ingmar.schumacher@ipag.fr. For any queries, send a mail to ingmar.schumacher@ipag.fr.

There is, of course, a slight chance that the weather will be bad. In this case we will either continue the workshop with additional presentations, or go to an indoor climbing gym, or visit Paris.

Costs:
Participants will have to bear all costs by themselves (thus travel, food, accomodation, etc.). We plan to rent a minibus for the climbing event, the costs will be shared among the participants.

Place:
IPAG Business School, 184 Bvd St Germain, 75006 Paris, France.

Dates:
Abstract/paper submission deadline: 31 August 2017
Notification of acceptance: 7th September 2017
Registration deadline: 20th September 2017
Workshop dates: 12/13th October 2017 and 14/15th October 2017

Information on SEED: The organisers will circulate, and this first edition will be organized by IPAG Business School, Paris, followed by a 1 1/2 day of bouldering in Fontainebleau. Future editions will include snowboarding/skiing around Annecy, hiking in Italy, sea cliff climbing in UK, etc. We are also open to suggestions from local organizers.
